n the Bible it is written : If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Romans 10: 9-10

Dear God I come to you in the name of your son, Jesus.

I believe that he suffered, bled and died on the cross to pay the price for my sins. I believe that he was raised from the dead on the third day so that I may have life in you. I acknowledge that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins. Set me free from the habits of my sinful life and show mercy to me Lord. I need your forgiveness.

I believe your promise in Romans 10:9-10; That if I confess with my mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in my heart that God raised him from the dead, I will be saved; for it is with my heart that I believe and am justified, and it is with my mouth that I confess and will be saved.

So from now on I will confess Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Please Lord Jesus, fill my heart with your love and by the power of the Holy Spirit transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you.

In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession to the praise of his glory.  Ephesians 1:11-14
