I saw a man ministering on television back in 1983. He was healing deaf mute Chinese children, every one of them, by saying "Satan come out in Jesus' name." So moved I was that I left the Buddhist order in which I was a monk, to follow Jesus and to do similar works to this man I saw on television. I want to find out who he was, but all I know is that he came from Akron Ohio. He is now probably gone to be with the Lord, but still I would like to know who he is. Maybe you can help. Thanks.

I am so glad you sent me your question and I was pleased to hear that you made Jesus your Lord and Savior. Spreading His Gospel is the most important thing in life because it gives people life.
The man you are referring to might be Reverend Ernest Angley. If it is he still has a church in Akron, Ohio. I believe now he is in his eighties. Although he is still active, he now has three very nice young men who do most of the preaching. He still makes trips to Africa and reaches many souls for the Lord.
Some years ago, through unfortunate circumstances there were some changes in the church and God has not been able to draw the people in like before. The love of God and the growth for people to mature in the Lord has been severely limited.
Therefore, we went looking for Reverend Bill Davis who had been the assistant pastor to Reverend Angley for so many years. The power of the Holy Spirit has always worked through him in such a marvelous and compassionate way, healing and delivering people. His love for the Lord has changed the lives of many thousands of people. He is able to bring people into the maturity of the Lord and I wanted my family to have his strong teachings.
We found him a few months ago. He had retired and gone to Florida for a while, but returned to start his own ministry. God has richly blessed him and he is more dedicated to God and preaching the truths of the Bible than ever before.
