A
Five-hundred five in the New International Version and two-hundred eighty in the King James Version. These are a few of my favorite Love scriptures:
1Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
Psalms 63:3 Because (God) your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.
Proverbs 8:17 I (God) love those who love me, and those who seek me find me.
Proverbs 21:21 He who pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.
Matthew 5:43-45 "You have heard that it was said, `Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven.
1Corinthians 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
Galatians 5:14 The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
James 2:8 If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, "Love your neighbor as yourself," you are doing right.
