Since you are upset over the answer I wrote to someone else in a Q&A I feel you deserve an explanation as to why I answered her the way I did and to understand how her situation was completely different from yours.

1 John 4:21 And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.

My answer to you is to bring peace into your heart because it's God's will that I love you and care about you.

3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

I would like to calm the anger in your heart, it's a blessing blocker when it comes to receiving the things of God into your life and especially into your soul. (See: What The Soul Of A Person Consists Of)

Also, I write so that I hold nothing against you for any of the accusations you brought against me. Then I can whole-heartedly pray that God will set you free from this disease and you can live the rest of your life in good health.

The Q&A you are referring to is: A friend I tracked down has paranoid schizophrenia. Can that affect my household?

Her question was:

I tracked down an old childhood friend and learned that she was suffering from paranoid schizophrenia. We haven't seen each other in 25 years. Almost immediately after being in touch with her, I began having incredibly bad luck, and just have a weird feeling that something less than godly has gotten a grip on my household. Prior to this we have had a happy peaceful family. My instinct told me to stop all contact with this person. After doing so, things began returning to normal. Am I crazy, or is this possible?

The answer I gave her consisted of the medical explanation of Paranoid Schizophrenia according to the Mayo Clinic Website and examples and helpful scriptures of what the Bible says about diseases of that type. Satanic spirits are ordered by Satan to come against every person that is ever born, because we are made in the likeness of God. (Genesis 1:26)

Satanic forces are at work everywhere, eager to come against anyone who doesn't know how to combat them scripturally.

1 Peter 5:8-9 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

By her asking if her situation was possible she was looking for explanations to her experience. She had entered into a situation that she didn't understand and was not spiritually equipped to deal with and it was affecting her household. There are many disruptive forces in this world and she didn't understand how the enemy could attack her in this way. It was not the person with schizophrenia, but the spirit behind the disease that caused the disturbance in her household. Because she didn't know how to handle it, she felt she should stop all contact with that person, so she did.

You ask me, "What kind of a hate-filled response is this?"

My response was not filled with hate for the person who had schizophrenia, of whom I have prayed for in order that she would receive healing and to be in perfect health. I did not tell her "not" to contact her friend again, she already did that. My response was to a person who had entered again into a relationship with an old friend. One that she said that her instincts already told her to break off that contact. (Our instincts or conscience is our receiver for the gentle leadership of the Holy Spirit, and she followed her conscience in good faith.) I simply gave her information from the Mayo Clinic Website with biblical information on the spiritual working of demonic oppression; along with how a person should go about receiving deliverance from any attack from Satan's curse. As she learns the workings of the spiritual world she may some day connect with her friend again and help her to be delivered from this disease.

I hope you can see that my response was not to antagonize anyone with schizophrenia or any other disease, but to help settle the confusion in the mind and heart of a woman who didn't know enough about spiritual influences to protect herself or her family.

My advise to that woman was not to hurt you in anyway. It was not to make anybody run from you or from anyone else who has any type of disease. Those who are able to befriend you and love you, should do so. Friendship is important to your life, as well as to your spiritual growth. Your situation may be completely different from the friend in the Q&A you read. First you confess to be a Christian, that woman never said her friend was. Next she had problems resulting from the relationship. No two lives are the same, you are completely separate and different from that lady's friend. There may never be anyone that will experience any problem from a relationship with you. Never compare yourself with anyone else. God made you special and unique so pray to be your best and let God live through you.

Maybe it will be God's just judgement on you that you develop some kind of disease with a stigma to it and all your friends will leave you.

You need to do a scriptural study on Gods judgment and condemnation. (Use your concordance to look up the words or type them into a Bible website such as BibleGateway.com, where you can study different versions.) If we as Christians are to love one another, as Jesus commanded and the Bible teaches us, when you think someone is wrong, or have sinned against you you should be quick to forgive. Pray for them and ask God to guide you then you will be strong and not fall under the following scripture.

Matthew 12:37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned."

Galatians 5:13-15 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

If schizophrenia was a demonic disease then the drugs would not work at all; can you see that or are you completely blinded?

I'm sorry but you're wrong. All diseases come from the curse, which belongs to Satan. All blessings come from God. (Study the 28th Chapter of Deuteronomy to learn God's blessings and how to receive them; also what the curses are and how they come upon people, many times unknowingly.)

This is the scripture that includes diseases as curses, even for modern times.

Deuteronomy 28:61 Also every sickness and every affliction which is not written in this Book of the Law the Lord will bring upon you until you are destroyed.

Just as Satan and his curse tried to destroyed the Israelites, he is constantly trying to destroy people today. Satan attacks everyone to destroy them while Jesus gives us life through salvation along with blessings and promises for which he paid the price.

John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I (Jesus) have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Many times we are disobedient to what God expects from us as written in his word, through ignorance or rebellion. The decision to think, speak or produce actions contrary to what pleases the Lord will open the door for some part of the curse to enter into our lives. We all fall short at times but as we learn to be obedient, and allow the Holy Spirit to teach us and guide us, we make fewer mistakes and reap more blessings.

God desire is for all people to live under the blessing, depending upon him for everything. Since the beginning when Adam and Eve sinned, we are all born with the sinful nature.

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Because of that sinful nature, now we must choose to receive the blessings of God, they are not automatic as it was in the Garden of Eden. However, we have access to his blessings through our covenant of salvation. We have knowledge of each blessing and all the promises by studying what God has written in His Holy Word. If we don't know what's in the Word we won't know what rights we have in God's kingdom.

Even Christians, such as you and I, are susceptible to the sickness that's found in the curse simply because our body is weak because it came from the dust of the earth. But as a spiritual being, established with renewed minds through the Word of God, we have the ability to recognize attacks from the curse. Then by putting forth God's Word we are able to demolish those attacks. That's why the Bible calls it warfare. We, like Paul in his writings, win the battles that attack us by using God's weapon's of faith.

Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is, his good, pleasing and perfect will.

The renewing of our mind with the Word of God produces faith. Faith is scriptural truths learned and imbedded into our soul until it automatically comes out of us in godly thoughts, speech and actions.

I thank God for medicine so that people can be helped and even cured from disease but the better way is to receive deliverance and healing from the Lord. I've had both. (Read some of Our Testimonies), God's healing is a lot quicker, more reliable and less painful than man's medicine.

Over the years I've had many healings and miracles and never had any ill side effects or relapses as medicine sometimes causes. In all those years I've found that the best way is:

1. To live in a manor pleasing to God, which gives me protection from the things found in the curse. (Read to increase your faith: Psalm 91)

2. By talking and acting in faith, using authoritative words that comes from the Bible. (Read to receive answers to prayer: James 1:2-8)

Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. (See: Armor of God)

I truly believe God had a hand in helping men and women to develop many useful drugs. They give people hope and a better quality of life. I am glad they help you.

I'm not ashamed to say I have this disease because I know that my heart is right with God and I would never accuse someone else of having a demon unless it were overtly obvious and maybe not even then.

Sickness is not demonic possession of your soul it's an attack on a person's body and can affect the mind of the person who is under attack. You are a spirit, you have a soul and they live in your body. Having a disease has nothing to do with a person's salvation, your heart being right with God, how much you love Jesus or entering into heaven. (Read for insight: John 9)

Having a disease has to do with knowing where it's root is (from some portion of the curse) and what we choose to do about it scripturally. Should we believe what God says in his word or should we believe what comes from the mind of men (doctors and specialists) and the schools they attended. Can we believe both and still grow in faith. The Bible teaches us to choose the mind of God even when people are trying to help us. The final say should always be God and his Word. Doctors can help, but too many people have died before their time because they decided what the medical profession has said over what God says. The miracles that I have received confirms God knows everything about everything. I've used doctors for help but godly authority is better for many reasons. However, it's not as easy because many times you have to exercise more "faith" than you have at the time. So there's the work of studying, meditating on the Word with prayer and then making confessions of what God says about your case, doing all you know to do by using what you have learned. Then comes the moment that God honors your efforts and the healing or miracle comes and the problem is gone in a moment of time.

Romans 10:17 ... faith comes from hearing the message, (the Spirit of the Word) and the message is heard through the word of Christ. (God's Holy Bible)

Receiving faith is the most important thing a person can do. That's why God tells us in his word:

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew (show) thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (KJV)

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. (NIV)

There was a show on DFH that featured a woman after childbirth who went into a seizure and started foaming at the mouth. it was eclampsia and she needed magnesium.

I suppose you would have stood over her and tried to pray some "demon" out of her, or would have advised everyone to run out of the room to avoid "bad luck".

No, I wouldn't for many reasons. Some are:

• It would be an act of spiritual immaturity. It's better to be lead by the Holy Spirit and always stay within the parameters of God's love.
• The Bible says "Lay hands suddenly on no man."
• I would not suspect a demon was doing anything to her when her body was under the stress of childbirth. After all the Bible says in Genesis 49:25 a child is a blessing from God. Instead I would pray for the doctors to quickly remedy the problem. Then for her to overcome the seizure with no lasting affects. Also, for her to never have another one again.

As I said before, sickness is not demonic possession of a person's soul it's an attack on a person's body. Such attacks can be on any part of a person's body, head to toe, inside or outside. Satan tries to burden everyone with temptation, oppression or possession. Everyone has been approached by demonic influences, whether it's sickness, greed, pride, covetousness etc. Even Jesus was tempted by Satan. (Read: Matthew 4:1-11) The Bible is full of scriptures to use against such attacks. It's up to us to find them and use them; it gives the Holy Spirit and the angels something to work with in their efforts to help us.

You're anger is showing because you lack the knowledge of how God and the power of his Word works among people, whether they are Christians or not. The Holy Spirit works on an individual basis to help each person. He provides the best for each one according to their background, knowledge, personality and most of all their level of faith. But he has to work without interfering with the freedom of choice that God gave them. Many times the Holy Spirit moves directly for people. Answers can come to people who don't pray, as well as to those who do because God is merciful and wants all people to be saved. (Read: 1 Timothy 2:1-4) However, because of our covenant of salvation, the promises belong to the children of God.

Other times the Holy Spirit uses spiritually equipped people to lay hands on or pray for a person of faith or of little faith, so they can receive what they need. However, many times the only way God can provide help for a person of little or no faith is through the actions of a professional person, one experienced in the field for their situation. Sometimes he uses both, professional people along with those who pray.

A person's level of faith, ignorance or rebellion to accept and act upon his Word many times will hinder God's ability to provide for their healing or deliverance. It's true in all areas where we have need, whether physical, emotional, mental or even monetary. God desire is for people not to lack in anything, but to use his faith to receive all of his blessings.

When situations happen, as the woman with eclampsia, God looks at the situation with love for that person and provides help because of his mercy and grace. After all he is the giver of life.

God have mercy on you. Remember Jesus who said "I will never leave you nor forsake you"

I am glad to say that God has shown me much mercy. It's true Jesus will never leave us or forsake us but God does judge us by our words and by our motives.

Proverbs 16:2 All a person's ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the LORD.

My motive in the Q&A you read was to help a confused person who didn't understand the workings of a low level demon that was disrupting her family. If you read it as a message to all who have schizophrenia I'm sorry. I always try to check my motives in whatever I do. It's a good rule to establish in one's life.

No, you are not crazy, especially if you're a born again child of God. Sanity begins when a person is received into the family of God through salvation in Christ. Sin and demonic influence is the root of crazy, an unsound mind. You were sound enough to listen to the Lord and follow His instructions to stop all contact with someone who is controlled by demon power.

What is Paranoid Schizophrenia?

This is the medical explanation of Paranoid Schizophrenia according to the Mayo Clinic Website.

Paranoid Schizophrenia is a chronic mental illness, which is a subtype of schizophrenia. People with schizophrenia don't perceive and respond to the world as most other people do. People with paranoid schizophrenia hold untrue beliefs (delusions, believe something to be true that essentially no one else in their culture believes) or they hear things others don't hear, (which is the perception of sound, usually voices, that no one else hears.) These sounds may be a single voice or many voices, either talking to the person or to each other. The voices are usually unpleasant. They may give a constant critique of what the person is thinking or doing, or they harass the person about real or imagined faults. Voices may also command the person to do things that can be harmful to himself or herself or to others.

A person with paranoid schizophrenia misinterprets experiences and then holds on to those interpretations despite evidence or reasoning to the contrary. Delusions are commonly focused on the perception of being persecuted and often result in the mistrust of other people.

Early signs and symptoms of schizophrenia, such as social withdrawal, unusual behaviors, anxiety and decline in daily functional abilities, may begin gradually before the primary symptoms of schizophrenia. Medical Science Diminishes Biblical Truths

Medical science is doing their best to research and develop ways to help people but they refuse to acknowledge the spiritual aspect in the things they call diseases. Anything that is outside of the scope of God's plan for a person's life can be labeled a disease. Disease is something that robs, hurts, deteriorates or kills a part of the human body and comes through the "curse" that Satan lives under. The Book of Deuteronomy defines what's in the curse. Satan puts thoughts into the mind of every human being; he continually pushes his lies in the hope that we will choose his way of thinking, speaking and acting.

John 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

People have a hard time realizing that every thought is not their own. Since Satan is from the spirit world he must work to gain power through people. He does that by instilling thoughts into a person's mind. God's is the same way. He desires us to yield to his Spirit: his thoughts and his way of doing, (starting with what he has had written down for us in the Bible) then he can express himself through us. Our choices are so important, God gives us the right to choose and will never impose himself on us, but Satan pushes his way in to take over any part of a person's life that he can.

What medical science is labeling is the effects that satanic influence has placed on the human body. For instance, by drinking alcohol you can develop the disease of alcoholism. Smoking, doing drugs, sexual impurity etc., all destroy different parts of the body including the mind that God gave us to use for living good and happy lives. Things that destroy the body come from the curse and are pressed into a person's mind as something they should do to fulfill emotional tools, which Satan supplied in the first place, such as flattery, popularity, ego, self-indulgence, pride etc. It's not God's will for people to do something wrong to harm their body. Those things are displeasing because He wants us to be healthy, live long and spend eternity with him.

1 John 5:17 All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death.

Many things people do come by satanic or evil influences, tempting us through our sinful nature, (the nature we were born with, a nature that is not yet covered with the blood of Jesus). The more a person knows about the will of God and acts accordingly, the less influence Satan has on their life and are free from what science calls disease. Doctors and medicine are great and a wonderful benefits to society but it's better, and a whole lot cheaper, to recognize when Satan is attacking us and use the Word of God to over power him. It's our right as a Christian to fight disease God's way and live free.

Sometimes people don't want to accept the fact that demonic power has attacked them or one of their loved ones. If your human, then Satan is out to destroy you, if for no other reason, just because you are made in the image of God (Genesis 1:26). I don't like to "white-wash" Satan's work by giving it a medical name, although medical names do help in describing symptoms. I would rather call things as the Bible calls it, especially if it's something I'm fighting against for myself or someone else. It gives me more understanding on how to fight the "good fight of faith" by keeping Satan as the object to defeat. Here are just two cases in the Bible of demon power taking over a person's mind in a way that is strong enough to control the whole person. Jesus call each situation as it was and used God's power to deliver them instantly. The first is a man with Schizophrenic symptoms and the second is a boy who has Epileptic symptoms who probably received them through no fault of his own, since he was only a child.

A Demon-possessed Man - Mark 5: 1-20

They went across the lake to the region of the Gerasenes. When Jesus got out of the boat, a man with an evil spirit came from the tombs to meet him.

This man lived in the tombs, and no one could bind him any more, not even with a chain. For he had often been chained hand and foot, but he tore the chains apart and broke the irons on his feet. No one was strong enough to subdue him. Night and day among the tombs and in the hills he would cry out and cut himself with stones. When he saw Jesus from a distance, he ran and fell on his knees in front of him. He shouted at the top of his voice, "What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? Swear to God that you won't torture me!" For Jesus had said to him, "Come out of this man, you evil spirit!"

Then Jesus asked him, "What is your name?"

"My name is Legion," he replied, "for we are many." And he begged Jesus again and again not to send them out of the area.

This was a man with demons inside. They controlled his mind and his actions, including his tongue and his strength. Jesus knew it wasn't a disease to subside with medication and treatment. It was demons who needed to be cast out and it didn't matter how they got in him.

A large herd of pigs was feeding on the nearby hillside. The demons begged Jesus, "Send us among the pigs; allow us to go into them." He gave them permission, and the evil spirits came out and went into the pigs. The herd, about two thousand in number, rushed down the steep bank into the lake and were drowned.

Now the demons are causing the destruction of the pigs just like he had been destroying the man. Demons don't care who they destroy, it's in their nature. (John 10:10 The thief (Satan) comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I (Jesus) have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.)

Those tending the pigs ran off and reported this in the town and countryside, and the people went out to see what had happened. When they came to Jesus, they saw the man who had been possessed by the legion of demons, sitting there, dressed and in his right mind; and they were afraid. Those who had seen it told the people what had happened to the demon-possessed man, and told about the pigs as well. Then the people began to plead with Jesus to leave their region.

They should have been rejoicing and praising God for that man's new life.

As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him. Jesus did not let him, but said, "Go home to your family and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you." So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed.

He was free from the bondage that Satan held him with, it wasn't a disease but many demons. When you accept having a disease you are accepting the demonic power that is giving you the symptoms. They are real symptoms that the human body can feel and experience, if you don't fight them with the power of God, through using His Word, they will become medical facts as you accept them. As children of God, when we use His Word (what's in The Holy Bible according to our circumstances) it changes earthly facts and brings us total deliverance.

The Healing of a Boy With a Demon - Epilepsy - Matthew 17:14- 21

When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him. "Lord, have mercy on my son," he said." He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him."

"O unbelieving and perverse generation," Jesus replied, "how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me." Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that moment.

Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, "Why couldn't we drive it out?" He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." (KJV) Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

Medical science has given names to many types of demonic oppression and possessions. It gives a person a false sense of what's wrong with them. Therefore, they put all their trust in medical science instead of God's greatness. There are so many people that suffer through life, daily taking medicine to control some "disease", which they could be delivered from instantly if they only lived close to the Lord and believed what the Bible says; and many of those people will die years before God intended them to.

I want to give you answers to why you felt division in your home, during the time you were visiting your friend, that are according to God's word and the findings of medical science together. Those demonic spirits attacked you hoping to capture either you or one of your family members. You must learn how our enemy, the devil, works so you can effectively control his efforts to harass you or your family in the future.

If Schizophrenia is the result of demon oppression how does it work to take someone over?

Satanic oppression or possession had entered your friend. God only knows how. It could have been at the time of an accident, sickness, an emotionally weak period etc. It could have started when she was a child, demons attack when we are the most vulnerable and work with patience and cunning to remain in the position they have gained. If we don't resist them they can invite other demons to live within the same mind they're controlling, giving them more power. When a person continually accepts something from the curse, by saying or acting with approval to things such as doing drugs, drinking alcohol or listening to satanic influenced music, even cursing etc., they are opening their hearts (the part of the mind that makes choices) to demonic power. That's how demons grow in number within a person, like the man in the tombs and many people we see today. Satan wants a high place of power in a person's mind so that he or she will believe all that he instills there and will act out his will. He uses people to destroy their own lives and the lives of those around them.

As satanic oppression moves in on a person's mind it becomes void of human thoughts for maintaining life, such as in social or occupational dysfunction. That's why people who are diagnosed with schizophrenia are likely to be diagnosed with comorbid conditions, including depression and anxiety disorders. In psychiatry, comorbidity doesn't necessarily imply the presence of multiple diseases, but instead the inability to supply a single diagnosis that accounts for all symptoms.

Demons controlling the mind of a person diagnosed with Schizophrenia are working toward a complete take over. That's why medical science must treat a person for their entire life. On the other hand, God's way, with the power of casting out demons as Jesus did, a person can have complete deliverance immediately. Medicine only subsides or diminishes demon activity through chemical changes in the body, for one example: suppressing dopamine activity with Zyprexa. Although it calms the brain and allows some clarity in thinking, it has devastating side effects. It's much better to use faith and believe God's Word for complete total freedom, freedom that has no side effects as medicine does. Here are two scriptures to use in confessing God's Word over our mind and keep it healthy.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

1 Peter 4:7 The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.

Medicine is man's earthly way of helping people. However, through the miraculous power of God's Spirit working with our faith and obedience in accordance to His Word, we can put Satan completely out of our lives; leaving our chemical balance normal, as God intended it to be. I thank God that he made our bodies the way he did and gave medical science the knowledge to help people, but I'd rather stay healthy God's way (through knowing what He wrote in the Bible and confessing his promises for my life because I'm obedient to his ways) and not experience all the side effects that medicine produces.

In Satan's take over of a schizophrenic mind, demons produce delusions and auditory sounds. Take a look at the symptoms from the Mayo Clinic report.

These sounds may be a single voice or many voices, either talking to the person or to each other. The voices are usually unpleasant. They may give a constant critique of what the person is thinking or doing, or they harass the person about real or imagined faults. Voices may also command the person to do things that can be harmful to himself or herself or to others.

When demons possess the mind of a human being they live there, of course they know every thought that person has. They conduct business there, so they discuss evil things and produce strategies amongst themselves to destroy the person and as much of their environment as possible, including their loved ones. As for harassing, that's simply what Satan is all about, harassing people, only he's doing it on the inside of a person instead of causing trouble and problems around the person as he does with all of us. To be free of sin and over power his harassment here on earth as well as for all eternity is the reason we desire to receive salvation through Christ. It's God's protection for us.

Demons continually endeavor to grow in strength and number within a person. Of course the voices are unpleasant, their demons. In the beginning it causes confusion. Deterioration of a person's clear thinking, that is organized and has the ability to prioritize all things concerning their life is the a major effort in Satan's kingdom. Control by confusion is a powerful tool that Satan uses in the attempt to weaken people's mind for his take over. That's why one of the symptoms of schizophrenia is disorganized speech and thinking.

A person with paranoid schizophrenia misinterprets experiences and then holds on to those interpretations despite evidence or reasoning to the contrary.

It stands to reason that demons speaking from a point of occupying a person's mind is going to be more powerful with their twisted interpretation than real evidence or reasoning, simply because they are in control. What goes into a person's mind, through the five senses has to go to battle with demons in order to be processed and they will interpret to that person what ever they desire to further cause destruction.

Delusions are commonly focused on the perception of being persecuted and often result in the mistrust of other people.

The lie of persecution, that demons place in a person's mind, is just one aspect of Satan's biggest most powerful tools "divide and conquer". First of all the Bible gives us detailed instructions on how to handle real persecution. Satanic thoughts of persecution are usually based on conditions that he puts in the mind, not facts. If he can wedge any kind of a division, one being mistrust between people, whether it's a married couple, a teenager and his or her parents, even church members, then he has a better chance of severing a relationship where people care for one another. Divide and conquer gives demons a clear path of opportunity to take control over people's mind because they have no support system from the very people that love them most. Mistrust is a fear based emotion, all fear is from Satan who has already been condemned to eternal punishment, putting unfounded mistrust in a person's mind is his way of getting that person to accept the same curse that God put him under.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

Fear results in a sense of being overwhelmed or a hopelessness, causing a person to give in to the desire that Satan intended in the beginning of his attack. Satan always has a better chance at using a person's mind when they are alone, sad, hurt and in a weakened condition, that's why we are told to walk by faith (what's written in God's Word) not by sight (the circumstances going on around us).

Early signs and symptoms of schizophrenia, such as social withdrawal, unusual behaviors, anxiety (any feeling ranging from nervousness to panic attacks) and decline in daily functional abilities, may begin gradually before the primary symptoms of schizophrenia. Delusions may result in a violent outburst if a person believes a perceived threat creates a dangerous situation in need of self-defense.

Demons work at establishing patterns of fear in the mind with delusions, which will repeat themselves producing increased fear as a person experiences different situations throughout their days, weeks and years. What a person feared a little last month has been increased, through a thought pattern, to require a more aggressive response today. Just as the Holy Spirit increases our love toward others to increase a person's ability for self-control, Satan uses the increase of fear to push a person out of control. Demons use the same process to increase other symptoms of paranoid schizophrenia.

A person with paranoid schizophrenia may also have delusions of grandeur, holding the belief that he or she has superhuman skills, is famous, has a relationship with a famous person or is a historical figure. These delusions can be dangerous, as when a person believes he or she can fly and acts on that belief.

After years of relatively successful disease management, some people may learn to recognize the voices as manifestations of the disease.

It's important to know what a manifestation is. The dictionary describes a manifestation as: An indication of the existence, a reality, or presence of something. One of the forms in which someone or something, such as a person, a divine being, or an idea, is revealed.

In the report from Mayo Clinic, they finally concede to the fact that people with schizophrenia are experiencing manifestations and recognize the manifestation of voices as valid, or a real part of their "disease" but never refer to the manifestations as to who's voices (spiritual beings) are really speaking. I would suspect because they don't know how to stop the voices, which would give a person back the control of their mind, but God does.

As a person accepts the manifestations of satanic captivity over their mind, it allows demons to increase their activity toward total take over, which causes more damage to a person's mental capacity for taking care of their own lives. Once more, spiritual demonic possession increases in power and the human spirit of free choice decreases. Our protection, as Christians, is to learn what's in God's Word and how to use it to put Satan under our feet. (Romans 16:19-20)

Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. (This happens through the study of God's Word) Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is, his good, pleasing and perfect will.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

When a doctor says, "You have.....disease", he is establishing in a person's mind what Satan has chosen to attack them with and they have limited help through medicine. It's not wrong for a Christian to seek the help of a physician but the ultimate avenue for healing should be through the power that's provided for us through the truth of God's Word and the presence of the Holy Spirit working in our lives.

What a schizophrenic person is seeing or hearing is very much real, even though doctors and medical reports calls it hallucinations because they don't have knowledge of the spiritual side of human life.

Hallucination - Perception of something seen, heard, touched, smelled, or tasted. An experience without an external stimulus and with a compelling sense of one's reality, usually resulting from a mental disorder or as a response to a drug.

What our society calls hallucinations many time are a reality coming from Satan's spiritual world through demonic power that is attacking a person's mind. Many people have no problem with receiving from God's spiritual world. We receive salvation which is a miracle in its self to be free from sin and ready for heaven. We feel His presence in leading us through our thoughts. Even sinners speak about religious beliefs, angelic beings and godly experiences, but to believe how Satan works at taking over human beings seems so foreign to so many people; yet the proof is everywhere in today's society, which re-enforces the cunningness that Satan has possessed from the beginning of time. (Genesis 3: 1-24)

The speed of demonic take over is dependent upon how much a person yields their mind to the demonic manifestation, such as drugs, pornography, music etc. For example, a person who listens to demonic music, such as rap, or looks at pornography will begin to dress, speak and act according to the demonic spirit that designed what they are indulging in. If you add drugs to the situation then the person's mind is altered from human control, leaving it open for demonic invasion. Then that person will sink into destruction and depravity at a faster rate. God gave us a mind that functions on many levels, yet it's the most complex piece of equipment to figure out because it not only learns and functions in the earthly realm but is susceptible to the spiritual realms, God's as well as Satan's. God gave us free will to choose what we desire to put into our mind to keep for our future and what to throw out. To use our mind without the leadership of God's Holy Spirit to guide our thoughts will bring a bountiful supply of disaster into our lives. That's why the Bible instructs us to fill our minds with the things of God for our own protection from demonic influences.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things.

Some of the statistics I've found for schizophrenia are: the lifetime prevalence of substance abuse is typically around 40%. Social problems, such as long-term unemployment, poverty and homelessness, are common and life expectancy is decreased; the average life expectancy of people with the disorder is 10 to 12 years less than those without, owing to increased physical health problems and a high suicide rate. God's way of total deliverance is so much better than man's way of lifetime treatment.

The demons that affected your friend's mind followed you home in the hope they could take you over. They are always looking for another human being that will allow them to stay in their presence. You were wise to recognize the changes in your home, many people overlook changes like you experienced or attribute them to another source. This is why you had that feeling that something less than godly had a grip on your household. What you called "bad luck" was disturbances from demonic influences at work to cause destruction to your family. Satan will perform events to weaken our defense against his activity. It's up to us to know the Word of God use faith for His promises and blessings. We are to learn to take authority over anything that tries to disrupt the will of God for our life and for those we love.

Note: "Luck" is Satan's counterfeit for the "blessing" that God gives to those who are obedient. Obedience means, we must use faith (believing in His Word) and is accompanied by our thoughts, speech and actions in accordance. Salvation is free for just believing Jesus is God's son and will save us from our sins when we repent. The in-filling or baptism of the Holy Spirit is a gift. We just have to ask for Him to fill us and have faith that He will, expecting the initial evidence of speaking in a heavenly language to be inspired by Him to praise God. However, the covenant promises are to be received through faith. If Satan can get a person to believe in luck or chance, because they win something or receive something that is unwarranted, then he has capture that part of the mind away from the power of God's supply for their life. A person can't believe in faith and luck both in their mind. They belong to two different spiritual worlds. Believing in luck cancels out any faith a person might have. People who say they believe in both wonder why their faith doesn't work and their not receiving great rewards. Satan doesn't require anything in return for what is called luck. If he sees that a series of good events will hook a person into believing and depending on his counterfeit, then he has no problem spending time to capture a human mind with that belief. With God there is never chance, uncertainty or anything labeled "luck". He states his covenant very clearly in the Bible, if we follow his instructions, that He so lovingly had written down for us, He will fulfill every promise according to our obedience and faith.

God honors people with blessings, physical, mental, material as well as spiritual who receive His Word as faith into their heart and live within the obedient guidelines of His truth. It's a stable, continuous sure thing. Satan deals with chance or luck which is never stable because it can be good or bad because, like Satan and his other works, it has an evil foundation system. Notice people say "bad luck" but never say "bad blessing", Satan's language sets a person up to accept defeat in their lives. God never does that. He wants to bless everyone; but they have to receive those blessings His way, by learning in the Word what's rightfully theirs through the salvation covenant.

You write, "My instinct told me to stop all contact with this person." God was speaking to you and giving you direction because He loves you. You ask, "Am I crazy, or is this possible?" Yes, it's not just possible, but what you experienced is absolutely real. There is a God who loves each of us so very much and his greatest desire is to save us and keep us in His protection. It doesn't matter what we've done that was wrong in life, He wants to cleanse it away and give us a new beginning in His family. His love for us is so great that His only Son gave his blood to wash away our sins. Jesus gave the only sacrificial price that could open the door to heaven's throne for us that we once again can fellowship with God, just as Adam did before he sinned. My husband and I have been married for 20 years, and he is always on the computer or watching TV.

This has come from the choices he's made in his heart and mind. Just as you have chosen the things of God he has chosen the things of the world.

He has only had a full time job for one year in twenty years, he has a part time job.

Twenty years is a long time for this type of immaturity and lack of responsibility to go on in a marriage. There is still hope, but it will take a lot of effort on your part to help him now. Pray for him that his heart is not completely hardened against God so you can break through to bring him from darkness into God's light.

He has no time for me at all;

That's understandable after this long of time. I've dealt with this type of relationship before and we can give it our best effort if you're up to the duration for the time it takes, with a lot of effort on your part. You will not be able to expect him to want to participate, He appears to be content in Satan's grip. However, this is what the Bible says about such cases as yours.

Jude 1:22-23 Be merciful to those who doubt; save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear, hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.

We had counseling but nothing works,

For counseling to work both parties have to see a need to change and have the desire to work at making the change. Your husband doesn't seem to have either. He's happy with his life. You carry the load and he has all the benefits. If you say anything he bullies you and you don't do anything about it. Actually I'm surprised he even went to a counselor.

If I ask him to talk he says I boss him and for me not to tell him what to do.

This doesn't surprise me, he's extremely content in his own little world where nothing is required of him. It's the same kind of world a child lives in; that's why I call it immature. As long as you allow this behavior he has no reason to change. In giving reasons for change, it will be how you give it that's important to bring him out of this lifestyle he has chosen.

It is just the two of us living in the house.

This is good, then you can help him without any interference from anyone.

I was ok for years, only now I get anxiety attacks.

You wrote, "I am strong in the Lord; He is the one that keeps me going."

You have no idea just how much power in the Lord you have. It's time to start using it.

1 Corinthians 4:20 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.

Talking is fine to express our thoughts and desires to others but it doesn't accomplish much in the spiritual world. You have to control satanic forces to bring God's light into your husband's world, which will make your world a better place to live.

Speaking out with the words in God's Holy Bible and believing they are able to deliver his promises to you is using your faith. It's this kind of faith in action that gets God's attention and puts angels to work These scriptures will give you strength in speaking what you want..

Matthew 21:18-22 Early in the morning, as Jesus was on his way back to the city, he was hungry. Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, "May you never bear fruit again!" Immediately the tree withered. When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. "How did the fig tree wither so quickly?" they asked. Jesus replied, "Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountainIf you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."

Saying aloud moves the spiritual world, which affects the material world. God created the earth and everything else in the beginning with "God said". We must learn to do the same.

John 14:13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

When we use our faith for answers from God, he receives the glory from our lives. Therefore, he is eager to answer us.

John 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit, fruit that will last, and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.

Things that last forever such as healing, miracles, reaping souls for God etc, work through using his faith that has been put in our heart from learning his Word. Speaking and acting in faith gets God's attention simply because it's his word from our mouth reaching his throne.

Get used to practicing aloud whether it's to God or taking control over the tricks that Satan is pulling. Speaking out loud and using scripture to back up what you need gives you God's authority to take charge over everything that tries to interrupt your peace, physically, mentally, emotionally even financially.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Mark 1:34 and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was.

To walk in the footsteps of Jesus, as the Bible says we are to do, we must confront demons head on. We can't even let him get a depressing thought into our mind, but protect every aspect of our lives with godly power. Then we will have what Jesus said we should have.

John 14:12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

If you have not received the infilling of the Holy Spirit in his fullness since you have been saved then do so immediately. It's the power you need to fight in the spiritual realm.

Acts 1:4-8 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. (once more we should seek Jesus through praise and worship until we receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit inside us, with the evidence of speaking in a heavenly language as described in the Book of Acts) For John baptized water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit." ... But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Now take what you received from God's word and attack those anxiety attacks. Satan is a liar and a thief. He's just trying to steal the good health that Jesus paid such a high price for you to have.

1 Peter 2:24 "He himself bore our sins" in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; "by his wounds you have been healed."

Although anxiety attacks feel real the Word of God says we don't have to accept them. I had them years ago and speaking aloud in prayer, along with verbally using God's word as authority over them, pushes back the power of such attacks. Satan is like a shadow, Jesus striped him of all his power when He was resurrected. Therefore, demons can only affect a Christian, with any part of the curse, to the extent they let them.

So from now on when an anxiety attack starts make your stand. Look at the attack as a bluff. A weak, empty shadow trying to put a curse on a child of God when Jesus bore the curse for us. He is not strong enough to over power the blood of Jesus which protects us. The Word is your sword and all of heaven backs you up when you use it.

Problems don't just happen. If we haven't done something to cause the problem then recognize the source, it's probably an attack from the curse which Satan tries on all of us. (Study Deuteronomy 28) to find out any areas you need to strengthen.

Even if a problem is coming from someone you love, such as your husband, it doesn't have to affect you. When you were saved you were set free from everything in the curse. So never fall victim to anxiety attacks again.

When something attacks me I simply say allowed, "I don't have to have this, Jesus bore all my sins, sickness and lack. I rebuke you anxiety devil (name whatever is attacking you, the power of confrontation is on you side). You have no choice devil but to flee. I am free in the name of Jesus."

I have become firm in this practice. It works because it's based on this scripture:

Matthew 8:16-17 When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: "He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases."

Use it for everyone in your family as well as your self, Satan can't argue with the power of God's Word.

1 Peter 5: 8-11 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen.

He puts me down in front of people.

He probably does this to embarrass you and to make himself feel superior. Anyway, whatever the reason he gets a charge out of it or he wouldn't keep doing it. A heart without God's wisdom and knowledge does many things to feed their own ego, most of which makes them look foolish.

So look at the source, who's using his mouth? He is yielding to satanic influences. Now you don't want to hurt his feelings but you do want to bring him to accountability. Use the same method as you would in teaching a child good manners or even a pet that is naughty. When he says something lean over to him immediately and in a quiet voice, barely loud enough so who he has said it to can hear, and say in a very kind and loving (almost a protective type voice), "Honey, don't embarrass yourself by saying something that makes you appear small."

He may get angry, if so smile and shrug your shoulders! DON'T argue or respond to his retort, act natural like this happens all the time, keeping your emotions under control. You must appear as the stronger person, to him as well as others. Practice so you handle yourself properly. He may never do it again, but if he does, pull yourself together and be ready. He already knows the price for his misbehavior. If he confronts you about it alone, clearly state in a calm voice, "I'm not ever going to take that kind of treatment from you again." Then drop it and walk away, no more discussion. You can show your firmness and still be kind at the same time. It's that kind of strength that will get into his heart. He will either change his actions or distance himself from you. I hate to say this but its a little like training a new puppy. Because he has gone so many years doing these kinds of things you may have to find a way to reward good behavior but tug him in the right direction when he shows bad behavior.

If I do something he always sees something wrong with what I do.

Pray about your responses for other situations where he tries to power over you. The put-downs and fault finding are a product of a cold, selfish heart without the love of God in it. The article I wrote for you will help you to break through that barrier. In a loving, attentive way seek his advice about what he is criticizing. Let him know you need his help for things around the house.

Examples:
Honey, how would you have done it? If possible let him actively show you.

Sweetheart, I did it the best I could, the next time I'll let you help me. Then it will be done right.

Put your thinking cap on and get your "one liners" ready for the situations that you know are coming. Always give your one liners in love. Sometimes it's good to turn away immediately after you use one, it's a sign the conversation is over and if he has a last word it doesn't matter to you. It's also an action that you're not going to respond anymore to his disrespect. Eventually teach him he has to apologize to you, when needed.

Begin making a (just one) Honey-Do list. Post it on the refrigerator or the best place for him to see it. Start with one easy job at a time. Then increase to two or three. Don't push him, just tell him it's there. Then you can't be accused of nagging. Never tell him to do anything for a long time, just use his list to draw him into participating in household chores.

Make a list of all the things you want done for your private use and transfer two or three items to his list. Then let the list speak for it's self. If he ignores it for more than a week or two, depending on the job, plan a time when he's not busy (after meals is always good, before they get involved in something else) offer to help them. Then no matter what they say or do, start the project giving them a short instruction to carry out while you are doing another part.

Example:
I'll get the nails while you get the hammer.

I'll get the lightbulb, you get the ladder.

Over time this trains them to look at the list and be a self starter. If they won't participate or walk away, wait until the next meal. Before fixing it say, "Let's do this project first, it should have been done hours ago." You can have a snack ready to hold off hunger through the project if necessary.

The spouse should help with everyday activity also.

Example:
I'll get the new trash bag while you tie this one up and take it out.

When he leaves the table ask him to take his dish to the kitchen. Once he has mastered that each time he gets up, ask him to put it in the dish washer and leave it open for you to finish.

You must not let a man go without participating in house hold responsibilities. Although he may not like it and even complain, lack of responsibility decreases his self-esteem and most times increases his ego. It makes it too easy for them to take you for granted. Find ways of getting him out of his addiction to the TV and computer and back into participation with whatever you are doing.

I have been thinking of leaving him but I know I can't break the covenant of marriage.

You have spent so many years with him in such a condition. Make sure you've tried everything you can. If he doesn't respond to the lesson I've written for you, he may leave. You leaving is not an option if you own your home and you have carried the load financially all these years. If it comes to a separation fight for what's yours.

I know that a person can have any other problem and there is an answer, but when it comes to marriage they just listen and don't answer.

You will not be the one to make the separation if you try biblical truths on him. However, if his heart grows harder toward God he may separate from you. Not everyone will change but it's worth a try to help him. We will pray that he responds favorably. I've seen those that don't and it's sad but those who do change live a much happier life here on earth and are rewarded later with an eternal heaven.

The trap you are feeling is not only from your husband and the choices he's made but from satanic forces that want to bind you. They want to rob you of God's blessings and especially of the Fruit of the Spirit. Your best defense is to follow this advise:

Philippians 4:4-9 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious (worried, uneasy, or nervous) about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Love toward others coupled with thanksgiving toward God is the key to receiving answers to prayer.) Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me, put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

The name Jesus is the Latin form of the Greek Iesous, and is the translation of the Hebrew (Yeshua) Jeshua, or Joshua , or again Jehoshua, meaning "Jehovah is salvation." The name in one form or another occurs frequently in the Old Testament.

God has kept his hand upon all major translations of His Word throughout history and the name of Jesus is truly a great translation of Yeshua for us to use. When we use the name Jesus with the scriptures that gives us God's truth about our situation, it releases our faith which God honors. He begins at that moment to make it possible for whatever we need to be accomplished. The more we live in God's system (according to biblical thoughts, speech and actions) instead of the wold's system, the more faith we have. As our faith increases and we practice using it God hears and answers our prayers according to His Word.

God's Protection Over The Name Of Jesus In The King James Translation

Because of past corruption under former kings, by the diversities of the bibles in their time not bringing people to accountability by the truth, King James, in 1604, assembled bishops, clergymen, and professors, along with four Puritan divines, to determine why the church was not able to be stable in God's truth.

Therefore, fifty four of the best biblical scholars and linguists of their day were chosen to make a translation of the whole Bible. (only forty-seven were known to have worked on the translation)

So with in-depth rules for interpretation, translators for the many bibles as well as for Hebrew and Greek along with many overseers from Westminster, Cambridge and Oxford the work for one unified bible revealing the truth of God was started.

The work was completed and issued in 1611. Several more revisions were made in 1629, 1638, 1762, and 1769.

God saw the desire in the hearts of those men who were taking on this great task. He never would have ignored what they were about to do because it would have allowed Satan to inject his evil over God's word, power and authority. God protected his truth through his precious Holy Spirit as the men worked to do their very best. God used the knowledge of many men who were devoted to Him and imparted divine revelation when needed. The translation that those men devised was truly inspired by God and the proof is that the Bible is a living, life changing account of God's perfect will for our lives. When we take the scriptures to heart it will break bondages, heal sickness and disease and free us from anything found in the curse. (Read: Deuteronomy 27:9 - 30:10)

The King James - for it's originality.

NIV (New International Version) - for clarifying the verses for memory and for easy understanding when relating to others.

The Amplified - for in-depth knowledge of what God is saying to me.

The King James Bible is one of the top best seller of all times. The Bible has worked for me, spiritually, physically, financially etc. When I live by and speak the Words that God had written down for us to use, it delivers me from the evils that Satan tries to produce in my life. God's deliverance is miraculous; it works like nothing else can. So Jesus is the name I call on and it's the name He responds to. He is the power behind the armor we should all wear.

The Armor of God

Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. I don't know Emily but if she is reading her Bible, praying and trying to live as God wants all of us to, then she is a terrific girl and the best girlfriend you will ever have. God knows just how to bless both of you with good things for the rest of your lives. He loves you and knows more about you than you'll ever know about yourself. He's the only one that knows the future and has all the answers for a happy, peaceful life. He's the only one that knows how to help you and protect you through every situation. Apply godly principles from the scripture into your life and you'll be successful at whatever you do.

Jesus Raises a Widow's Son

Luke 7:11-17 Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went along with him. As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her. When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, "Don't cry."

Then he went up and touched the bier they were carrying him on, and the bearers stood still. He said, "Young man, I say to you, get up!" The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother.

They were all filled with awe and praised God. "A great prophet has appeared among us," they said. "God has come to help his people." This news about Jesus spread throughout Judea and the surrounding country.
