Are you a psychic?
Submitted by many people
Q

I receive so many questions from people with expectations for love in their lives, for example "Who is my next boyfriend and how long will we go together"; "When and who will I marry" or "Who does a certain person love and will they ever love me?" Then there are many who want to know "Is my husband cheating on me"; "Will I ever have a baby?" or "What do you see about me and my future?"

People who ask these types of questions are usually looking for a psychic, someone who can tell their future. I feel in my heart that I must help you to understand that psychic power is sometimes real and some people just observe a person to create a lie that will satisfy them. Either way when a person invites the wrong spirit to use them it can be cause devastation to their life and to the lives of those who put their trust in them.

Anyone who reads the articles or answers to questions on our web page needs to know what kind of questions I can answer and why these kinds of psychic questions are dangerous to a person's life and eternal soul. Please read the answer below and my article on God's Power and Satan's Counterfeit to learn how to better your life.

A

By the questions so many people have asked, I assume they think I might use psychic powers or astrology to see into their future. No, I can't see into anyone's future, not even my own. The Bible does set standards for all people to follow and that's where I get the knowledge to help those who write to improve their situation. I give God all the glory if someone has been helped. When we obey the scriptures, God richly blesses us and reveals some of the goodness that's in store for our future. That's the future I would like to see come true for everyone, especially those who took the time to write to me. Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart.

When people don't know about God's great love for them they aren't aware of the good things in the Bible they can have; nor do they learn how to receive his supernatural help when they need it. Therefore, they lack the things they need to be happy. Even if a person is prosperous in the financial area of their life they can be lacking in other areas such as relationships, joy, contentment, health, security etc. To be prosperous in every area of a person's life it takes the knowledge of God and the wisdom to use it. He examines everyone eagerly to find good in them so he can pour out blessings that he's been holding for each individual. When He examines us and finds his word working in us it pleases him then in return He blesses us according to his word. There are so many good things God has on earth for us to enjoy when we live according to his rules. But when we are lacking in his word we follow a lifestyle that hinders or stops the blessing of God from flowing into our lives.

Proverbs 5:21-23 For a man's ways are in full view of the Lord, and he examines all his paths. The evil deeds of a wicked man ensnare him; the cords of his sin hold him fast. He will die for lack of discipline, led astray by his own great folly.

Salvation through repentance starts a person in a direction that brings God's supernatural blessings into our lives. We receive his power of deliverance for every situation in life plus the promise of eternal life in heaven for our spirit and soul after the body dies.

When Jesus died for our sins his blood allowed God to cover our sins and see us as sinless:

Isaiah 1:18 "Come now, let us reason together, "says the Lord. " Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool"

Accepting Jesus as our personal savior creates a covenant relationship with God; a binding contract or agreement which gives us so many good promises straight from God's heart. Since God never changes his word will never change; therefore, his promises are for everyone that will recognize the value of what He has said.

Hebrew 13:7-8 Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

God set the standard for the covenant and then had both, our part and His part, written in the Bible for us to follow. Then He supernaturally kept his hand on that word for centuries so all people could learn His ways and would receive his blessings. Because people were weak in keeping their part of the covenant God sent the Holy Spirit to earth to strengthen us and teach us how to please Him. He continually works with people drawing them closer to him that his blessings will be manifested (apparent or obvious) in our lives.

2Peter 1:20-21 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit .

If you're not sure what God's blessing are, they are anything that gives happiness or prevents misfortune in your life; special benefits and favor. They are anything good in life that will bring increase to you in all areas of your living. You receive favor in buying or selling, in receiving gifts or promotions, where you live and how you live; in your health and long life etc. God's blessings and deliverances rescue you from the burdens that you can't change and strengthens or renews you for future situations that you may need to resolve. God's blesses his people in ways that will benefit every area of a person's life because he is interested in the whole person and has planed great things for each individual if they will only follow his instruction on how to receive.

God's word is for all people, just as Jesus died for the sins of all people. There are blessings and rewards for behaving as God wants, as well as punishment and terror for not obeying his commands. He made the rules and Jesus died for those rules; therefore God has the right to carry out the judgment for each person whether it's blessings for doing good or punishment for ignoring or disobeying his Word.

When a person is out of God's will, which is set forth in the scriptures, then Satan controls much of that person's life. He works by producing fear in all kinds of situations, and robbing people of mental, physical and material blessings as well as spiritual blessings. Satan even works to affect those around that person because he lies and steals from everyone he can. When people give themselves over to believing in his evil works, such as psychic powers, astrology, magic etc., then Satan uses that person as his instrument to destroy everyone that person loves or comes in contact with. God hates the works of Satan but he loves people so very much. He wants everyone to learn and grow in his ways and in the blessing he has put here on earth for them. Many times he waits years just for the right moment that the Holy Spirit will have success in drawing someone into the arms of the Lord.

2Peter 3:8-10 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.

If you believe in or have used the powers of Satan please take the time to read my article God's Power and Satan's Counterfeit. God loves you so very much and wants you in a position to bless you and make your life fresh and new. God will open your mind and heart to his wonderful truths and deliverance can be yours. So go to my Salvation Prayer page and pray this simple prayer. I wish the very best to you for your future.

Q

Hi. Well I am 22 years old. Have been saved and a christian for 3 1/2 years. I have struggled and now am trying to recover from an eating disorder. I came to your website while i was looking up some information on the internet.

Well I have been seeing this guy, well man. He's 33. I have never been with a person this much older than me, but honestly we get along pretty well and he's an active and youthful person.

We haven't really committed to each other for the long run, especially because of the rocky place I've been in for a while. I haven't had a relationship in 4 years and it's been hard for me to commit because I haven't felt prepared.

Before he was saved, which was only 1 1/2 years ago, he was in two serious relationships. The first one, which was several years ago, resulted in two kids. He was never married but I sometimes wonder, now that he's saved and trying to follow Jesus Christ, shouldn't he consider reuniting with that first person with his kids and being a family with them? I've posed the question of his kids to him but he seems to see it differently.

Maybe my thinking about this is not exactly right, but i was looking for guidance in this area.

We have only known each other for about 3 months, but things have been growing pretty fast with us and we have made mistakes that we are currently trying with God's help to fix.

Thank you for listening to my concerns.

A

You must have faith in each other as well as faith in God. God needs to be at the very head of your relationship, so build your relationship on truth and honesty.

The relationship that he had with the mother of his children was based in sin, and they were both sinners at the time. Now that relationship is over and, it seems, neither of them are interested in rekindling it. God expects him to support his children, to be a father to them, but he needs to get on with his life in Christ. If that includes you, and you love this man, then keep your relationship holy until you're married and God will bless you. You say you've made mistakes and that you're trying to fix them with God's help. God always listens when we repent and try to do better, and he's faithful and just to forgive us when we fall.

The best advice I can give you is to keep building your relationship in the Lord and become strong in His word. My prayers are with you.

Why do girls feel so hesitant to talk with boys?

Q
Why do girls feel so hesitant to talk with boys?
A

Girls many times are shy or don't know what to talk about that will hold a boy's interest. Sometimes its fear of what their friends might say that keep them from talking to a boy. There are a lot of different reasons why girls don't talk to or respond well to boys.

None of those reasons should ever stop you from acknowledging the people around you with a smile and encouraging them with a kind word. People everywhere are hungry for someone to genuinely care about them.

Find the things you have in common with a person you want to talk to. If you do some research as to what subjects a person likes then you'll know the things that interest them and will be able to start the conversation as well as keep it moving. You should always be prepared having something ready that's interesting to talk about. It takes a little work to plan ahead but after a while it'll come naturally to you. Don't be shy at starting conversations. You can begin with a smile while passing by and move on to just saying a few words. After a few times girls will respond to your efforts, even if at first they weren't kind.

Use the material you have researched to promote a conversation by asking questions or making comments when the conversation is slow. Being a good listener will make you the one person they will look forward to talking with. As you listen you will learn more about that person to use in the next conversation. Don't let much time go by between the times you speak to that person; keep the relationship flowing. Don't go overboard either so they feel you have invaded their space. The more freedom a person feels when you are with them the more open your conversations become, resulting in a better and more stable friendship. As you show a genuine interest in their life, you can begin to talk about the things that interest you and they will want to listen.

Think of girls as just someone to become friends with first, show respect for them and they will learn to trust you. Starting with a successful friendship leads to deeper commitments.

If you're not saved then go to our Salvation Prayer Page and give your heart to the Lord. Pray and talk to Jesus about who your friends should be. Friends that don't know God can keep you from receiving the blessings and prosperity that God has in store for you.

1Corinthians 15:33 Do not be misled: "Bad company corrupts good character."

How To Handle Rejection

If someone makes fun of you or says something to offend you, just ignore it and be as kind and well mannered as you know how. Never let anyone detour your good efforts. It's their inadequacy, not yours.

Romans 12:17-19 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord.

Always keep in mind that God made you special and unique. There's only one you and God has great plans for your life. When you pray and let Jesus be Lord over the events of each day, His blessings will be upon you no matter what any else says or does.

1Timothy 4:11-12 Command and teach these things. Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

Scripture gives warning to those who look down on or tries to hurt one of God's children. Our protective angel takes our problems to God, where he makes decisions how to solve the situation while giving us strength and power to endure until we overcome the trouble.

Matthew 18:10 "See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

God's delivering power is based on how we act when we go through tough times.

Romans 12:21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

We should always run to God for answers instead of running from God. Even if we've done wrong we should repent and do right toward people to regain God's favor.

3John 1:11 Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.

If you do good to others, those with the right heart and motives will find you. You will gain the reputation of someone easy to talk to, strong and trustworthy. They are the ones that will be your true friends when times get rough.

I'm praying for you that you will find happiness and success in all you do.

Is my boyfriend tired of me?

Q
Is my boyfriend tired of me?
A

I don't know if your boyfriend is tired of you. I'm not psychic. I use God's knowledge from the Bible to help people. If you both have turned your hearts over to the Lord you could have a whole lifetime of joy and happiness together. God is love (1John 4:16) and to know him allows his perfect love to rule in your life. God's kind of love is stable and forever. When two people have God's love working in their lives, they talk and act holy without sin; which pleases God. Then He blesses them with a deeper love for each other. That makes a secure, successful relationship that only gets better throughout the years. If you and your boyfriend are not born again (saved) through repentance and accepting Jesus as your Lord please go to our Salvation Prayer page and give your hearts to the Lord. People who truly put Jesus first in their heart have so much love to overflow on their partner that their partner never gets tired or board with them. Spice up your life with reading your Bible and see what God will do for you. Start in the New Testament and read through it several times before reading the Old Testament. Then let the Holy Spirit be the leader of your relationship. If your boyfriend is not the right person for you God will see to it that you find the one He has chosen for you.

It really works; after almost forty years of marriage there isn't anything I would change about my husband. We never get bored with each other and life just keeps getting better each year.

My prayers are with you as you seek God for the perfect mate.

Please read my article on the dangers of psychic power .

My husband told me he had an affair but now he wants to move...

Q

My husband told me he had an affair but now he wants to move to another state. What can I do?

A

A man who has just had an affair is not a man with a strong mind or a moral set of values. He has sinned not only against you and God, but the Bibles declares that this type of sin is the only one that a person commits against himself.

1Corinthians 6:18 Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.

This is a severe condition for any person to be in and they should not be put in a place of authority over anyone until they renew their mind with the Bible. It doesn't seem that he has any spiritual strength. Should he be making any major decisions in your life or the lives of others who may be involved, such as family or good friends?

You didn't give me enough information to really help you, so I will give you some questions that you must answer that will help you make up your own mind, and you can decide what's best for you.

  • What is his purpose for the move? Get an in depth answer from him. Is the affair really over and he wants to escape embarrassment, or is this move to continue the affair (or maybe to start a new one)? You have to find out what's in his heart before you make any kind of move that could possibly destroy your life.
  • Is his relationship with you repaired? Examine his values at this time of your marriage and try to help him, but don't let him pull you away from God.
  • Does he have a definite place he wants to move to, or is it just any place other than there? Why?
  • What attachments does he already have to the new place?
  • Will your lives be secure there, with family, friends, jobs etc?
  • How difficult will it be for you to adjust to the new location?
  • Will he be taking you from people who are your support system in this trying time?

If God is in your life, has your husband turned to God also? If not take him to our Salvation Prayer page and encourage him to give his heart to the Lord. Then he can begin to grow in God's forgiveness and grace.

If this move is not the best thing for your family then maybe you shouldn't move. Do you have a church where he can get counseling? If you don't go to church, then start to go whether he goes with you or not. We always look for a Church of God or Assembly of God because they are Spirit-filled and will give you the best guidance.
