| Will God tell you who your husband is? And if so how do we know it is God! | | Submitted by N | Q Will God tell you who your husband is? And if so how do we know it is God! I was reunited with an old friend from years back, and before it goes any further I went to God to ask. I don't want to make another mistake. A God speaks the loudest to us through his written word, The Holy Bible. He never gives us anything in our heart or mind that contradicts his word. Fear and doubt never come from God and if it's present in the event you're experiencing then take it to God in prayer until peace fills your heart and it's backed up by scripture. You may want to read my article on How To Know If You're Really Hearing From God. The best way to know if a person is suited for you is to look at the way they speak and act. Is it in accordance with the Bible? God matches His people together, those that make Jesus Lord over their lives. Does this man read his Bible, pray, listen to God's anointed preachers on TV or go to church? Is he reluctant in doing any of these things when you ask him to participate with you? If he has a heart for God and you have a heart for God then you will have a match made in heaven. 2 Corinthians 6:14-15 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be misled: "Bad company corrupts good character." If either you or your old friend is not saved, go to our Salvation Prayer page and give your heart to the Lord. If you are, rededicate your lives to God together and allow your relationship to begin to grow. With Jesus as your partner, God will bless you and prosper the love you have. Obedience to God's word is your safety and when you read His Word and pray together, God is there. Matthew 18:19-20 "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." It's important to your relationship that you attend church together. If you don't currently have a church, my article How To Find The Right Church will give you guidelines that can help you find a place where you can grow strong together in the Spirit of God. |
| How is my true love? | | Submitted by K | A Dear K, I don't know who your true love is but I'm sure if you're saved and know Jesus as your Lord, God has a true love that will be just right for you. Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." This means that God's promises are attached to how much effort and time you give to the Lord. If Jesus is your first and greatest Love then in turn He takes care of all your needs, including a life-time partner to love, marry and grow old with. God loves you so much and has great desire for you to be blessed with true love as well as every other type of goodness in life. So seek him through studying his Holy Bible. Start in the New Testament and proceed to the end to find what blessings can be yours. Each time you read through your Bible you will grow in knowing God and the Holy Spirit will guide you into great prosperity for your life; things like a good job, the right car, getting the best buys when shopping. God is attentive to every need we have and wants to give us the desires of our heart, but it all works through friendship and obedience to him. Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. If you don't know Jesus personally please go to our Salvation Prayer page and speak to the Lord from your heart. God is always waiting to hear from each one of us. Some people mistake me for a psychic; I've posted a reply about that here; which you can read if you're interested. |
| Are my boyfriend and I going to a last long time? | | Submitted by A | Q Are my boyfriend and I going to a last long time? A I don't know if the love between you and your boyfriend is going to grow. I'm not psychic. I use God's knowledge from the Bible to help people. If you both have turned your hearts over to the Lord you could have a whole lifetime of joy and happiness together. God is love (1John 4:16) and to know him allows his perfect love to rule in your life. That kind of love is stable and forever. When two people have God's love working in them they live holy, without sin. That makes a secure, successful relationship that only gets better throughout the years. If you and your boyfriend are not born again (saved) through repentance and accepting Jesus as your Lord please go to our Salvation Prayer page and give your hearts to the Lord. Then let the Holy Spirit be the leader of your relationship for now and all eternity. Please read my article on the dangers of psychic power . |
| Should a husband put his wife first over their children? | | Submitted by K | Q Should a husband put his wife first over their children?
A A person's spouse always has to be the most important person in their life. They should come in "second place" right under loving the Lord first. God is devoted to making strong marriages and He's the one that will keep the two of you together with great love and affection. He has a way of increasing the right kind of love in a person and will alter quality time to fit a couple's need. Centering your lives around God and his word gives you miracle power in this busy world for extra time together and for each family member. Be sure to include God in prayer at meals, travel, daily activities etc. God and his word is the miracle bond that keeps families together under every circumstance. He has a great investment in your family and wants to bless you. If it seem like he's giving more attention to the children than to you, examine your feelings. Why am I not happy about how my spouse treats our children? Maybe he's young at heart and just likes to play. Are you participating in his relationship with the children or are you sitting on the sidelines feeling jealous? Are you interesting enough that he wants to spend time with you or do you nag? If you're asking him to do something every time he's with you, he won't want to be with you. Make a Honey-Do List and hang it on the refrigerator and never nag again. Help get jobs started if he isn't a self starter. Doing half a job with love is better than doing a whole job by yourself. Ask God to help you with resolving the problem. It could be a simple adjustment like planning activities for the whole family or learning to participate in something they like to do, even though it doesn't interest you.

| I believe that there are some hidden powers in every child,... | | Submitted by R | Q I believe that there are some hidden powers in every child, which disappear with his growing age and become neutral after teen age. Is it true, if yes what are those. Can you put light on this subject. With Thanks & Regards A No, this is not true according to God's Bible. However, Zechariah and Elizabeth had a son, John, that was born filled with the Holy Spirit. He was special because his ministry was to announce the coming of Jesus, son of the Living God. Luke 1:11-15 Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing at the right side of the altar of incense. When Zechariah saw him, he was startled and was gripped with fear. But the angel said to him: "Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to give him the name John. He will be a joy and delight to you, and many will rejoice because of his birth, for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit even from birth. Children are born innocent. However, they have what's called a "sinful nature" meaning that the human nature is weak and easily influenced by the evils of Satan. This happened when Adam and Eve lost faith in God's commandment and ate the forbidden fruit. As children grow and learn good from bad they make choices that affect their life as well as their eternity. Many children repent and give their heart to the Lord at a very early age and live a lifetime in the presence of God's protection and power. But a child that choose to do wrong will need to repent and accept Jesus as their Lord, just as an adult does. God holds each person responsible for their own choice of where they will spend eternity. When a child passes into eternity through death God's grace (unearned favor) covers them. He is the one who decides how much that child knew about right and wrong and how much choice they had in making their own decisions. He is a good God and very forgiving. But when a person gets to an age and ability that God knows they are capable of learning His Word, he expects them to read and receive what He has written down in the Bible. He wants us to know Him and have fellowship with him and his Son, Jesus Christ, so that he can strengthen us and bless us in every area of our lives. If you have not repented of your sins, or know of someone who needs the joy of salvation in their life, please go to our Salvation Prayer page. God really loves you. Thank you for writing and may God truly bless you. |
