veryone seems to have some aspect of themselves that they would like to improve. You may want to improve your memory, become more organized, or handle stress. You may have a material need: a need for a home, car or a better job to meet your financial obligations. People who are sick or suffering from the effects of old age may need a physical miracle or an increase in a particular ability that improves freedom in their life. God has the answers for everything, answers that will improve your life in every way, physical, emotional, and financial as well as spiritual.

You might say: "All that sounds good, I'll follow what's in the Bible and get the improvement for my need, but what about those people around me that hinder my progress, those who keep me from the fullness that God has for me? How can I avoid their input into my life so I can reach my goal?" The answer is simple: Take them with you. Lead them into better lives. As their lives improve your life will get easier and eventually they will be there to support you when you have a need. God has proved to me that this works. The Bible is full of scriptures with answers to help you change those around you, but it all starts with you. If a person is willing for God to use them, He has answers for how to deliver a cheating husband from the affair he's having or the wife from her infidelity. There are ways of rebuilding a strong love relationship in a marriage that seems dead. There are scriptures that will influence a husband or wife to love their partner more than they love themselves. It's wonderful to have that kind of relationship with your husband as well as with your children. It's God's way.

The Bible also has answers when you need to change your child's attitude. It gives you insight how to teach them to have respect for you and for others. There are ways of taking back control of your household from your child, while insuring that you will be appreciated for it. God's Word can make bedtime, mealtime or any other troublesome time a pleasure instead of a battle. The Bible, when used properly by each individual will have the power to produce peace, love and joy in the home. It can even conquer trouble in a schoolroom if a child learns how to use the Word of God effectively. There is nothing in the life of an individual that can't be changed for the better if they will believe God and use His Word.

So how do you go about doing that? What steps do you follow? I've been asked many times: "Why isn't the Bible clearer on how to fix my problem?" The following instructions are filled with scriptures that you can look up and read for yourself. Pray and ask for God's guidance. Never try to change your life or the lives of others without the help of the Holy Spirit; He knows all things and will guide you in the right way. I pray that God will bless you, guide you, and help you by His miraculous power. Then you can take charge of changing all things around you needed to improve your life.
